Version2.1
The Basics
Using BOLD type within a line of type for emphasis...
Remember you must open the document:
UsingBoldface.html to see the full coding...
when you do you'll see B for Boldface with < > brackets enclosing the "start tag", and a / with < > brackets enclosing the "end Tag"...

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are using the Netscape browser you can view text file by GOING TO: View Menu and CHOOSING: Source.

Below is the code to indent text... open the document: UsingBoldface.html to see the full BLOCKQUOTE coding...

Note the code to make the indent begin as BOLDFACE then continue as plain text...

You can also create Boldface through RESETTING the OPTIONS MENU under STYLE. In NCSAMosaic you can choose specific fonts for all type tags. In Netscape you can set only two fonts but Netscape will let you size the fonts but Netscape will let you size the fonts. Try experimenting... Remember most people will have their pages designed for the default setting, so setting your local style may distort pages you jump to on the Web as well as HTMLhacks... pages. Don't worry just restart your computer and what you did will be restored to the default setting or go back and reset them manually to the default.
